She thought he said “Oh, the humanity” (that’s close, right?), and found herself picturing a creature that was part human, and part manatee—a humanatee! The idea lingered in her head for a whole five years, and after her mom insistently reminded her to draw what a humanatee might look like, she finally put pen to paper and drew what would become her first design. curator of fine art prints and awesome designs.
