If you’re a fan of SuGrow Up To Be A Super Cool Goat Lady T-Shirt . based label 69, then you’re probably aware that inclusivity is hardwired into the ethos of the clothing brand. The anonymous designer has long described their garments as non-gender and “non-demographic,” meaning that they’re made to look good on everybody without regard for an ideal customer. To their credit, it’s hard to imagine anyone feeling uncomfortable in any of 69’s roomy all-denim creations; the brand has received lots of positive feedback from both ends of the sizing spectrum on this front. “I have people who are really petite who like to wear oversize things, and we have larger-size customers that love the clothes because even for them, they fit loosely and aren’t constricting,” 69’s designer says over the phone from Los Angeles. “And then everything looks pretty cool.”

It’s a nice, comfortable shirt. But it fits abit larger than what I was expecting. I’m 6′ and almost always a large for shirts. Especially for Under Armour, I would have expected their clothing to be on the smaller/tighter size because this is workout apparel. This one is definitely not that – it fits more like an XL on me in terms of length (goes far past my waist), and just overall tightness.
All that said, I still think I’ll keep it because it’s very comfortable. Just not ideal for the gym because it’s so long.
*Edit 1 month later*
After a few wash/dry cycles the shirt seems to have shrunk a bit. It’s a nice size now- not baggy but not so tight – so I updated to 4 stars. I still would suggest if you’re looking for a tight fit as some might with a workout shirt, consider ordering a size down. Even after shrinking the L is looser than a slim fit.
