One of them is camp: you could be a look queen, you could be a pageant queen, you could be a dance queen, and you can be a camp queen I Love My Dalmatian To The Moon And Back Christmas T-Shirt . Of course, all drag inherently is camp, but then there are “camp queens.” That was my first introduction to the terminology of camp, is older drag queens in my community in Atlanta being like, “Oh she’s camp. She’s nothing.” Where I come from, camp was kind of looked down upon because the drag queens that I grew up with took themselves so seriously The camp queens are the kind of queens that might call out bingo numbers, or they might be standup comedians, but that’s kind of where I got the terminology, where I first heard the word ‘camp’ as it pertains to aesthetics and performance.To the fashion world, a man in a dress will always be camp. But in the drag world, you have specific genres. So for me, for instance, I’m most categorized as a “look queen.” Even in Sontag’s essay it talks about how things are always in quotes, and that’s how people will address us drag queens, it will be “Okay ‘laaadies’ time for the show!” They say it in a way that is inherently camp, that alludes to the artifice of everything, and drag itself is about artifice and exaggeration and silhouettes and lines. It’s about exaggerating femininity.

I ordered the medium and it fits perfectly, not tight but just the right amount of loose it looks so good. Great quality, the images on the front and back are really crisp and good quality. Super soft and black isn’t sheer in any way. Love it! Thanks so much!

Good outside work T-shirt

Bought these for working in my yard. They are just the right size (XL) and length. On me, the hem is down to the bottom of the front pocket openings on my jeans and the fit is slightly loose, not figure hugging.
I’m not sure what the definition of “heavy” is supposed to be. These seem to feel slightly thicker than the Hanes or Fruit of the Loom multi-pack white T-shirts you can buy at your local supermarket, but you can still easily see through them when held up to a sunny window, for example.
I waited to do this review until one shirt was washed to record the amount of shrinkage and see how the texture changed. New, they are almost silky in feel. Very nice. Once washed, they lose that and become slightly rougher, like any other T-shirt. After one wash, as shown by the photo of washed over top of new, they have lost maybe 1″-1.5″ on length, but the width change was minimal and the fit is still a loose XL. The color faded slightly also.
It’s a T-shirt and it’ll meet my intended use, but I wouldn’t say they were “special”
