I never knew the presidents Carowinds Thunder Striker Stripped Down and Souped Up For Intense Speed T-Shirt . of the USA get a portrait to be displayed for the public in Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery, after the end of their terms. It was the Obamas’ turn yesterday, an event widely covered by the press. The couple was very popular with the public during their White House stay. That’s especially because of their charitable characters, social involvement and natural chemistry. I won’t get political about it, because this is news about the art world.Well, thanks to their on-going popularity, people had a lot to say about these Obama portraits. Each of them hand-picked their respective artist. Barack Obama chose Kehinde Wiley, a Yale University graduate. He is famous for his Old Master painting style, filled with pops of color. The background is a luxurious wall of flowers, each with a significance. Michelle Obama chose Baltimore-based artist Amy Sherald, who focuses more on social justice themes, more than perfectly replicating the person. The African-American artist paints black skin in grey tones, which raised some eyebrows.

Good outside work T-shirt
Bought these for working in my yard. They are just the right size (XL) and length. On me, the hem is down to the bottom of the front pocket openings on my jeans and the fit is slightly loose, not figure hugging.
I’m not sure what the definition of “heavy” is supposed to be. These seem to feel slightly thicker than the Hanes or Fruit of the Loom multi-pack white T-shirts you can buy at your local supermarket, but you can still easily see through them when held up to a sunny window, for example.
I waited to do this review until one shirt was washed to record the amount of shrinkage and see how the texture changed. New, they are almost silky in feel. Very nice. Once washed, they lose that and become slightly rougher, like any other T-shirt. After one wash, as shown by the photo of washed over top of new, they have lost maybe 1″-1.5″ on length, but the width change was minimal and the fit is still a loose XL. The color faded slightly also.
It’s a T-shirt and it’ll meet my intended use, but I wouldn’t say they were “special”

easy to wash and dry
nothing to dislike about the shirts. My husband is very hard on t-shirts in the shop and I keep replacing them so he looks decent. He gets glue, or gelcoat, or paint, or tears, or grease on them.
These look nice, washed nicely, dried looking very nice. Likely will order more.
