The process consisted of conducting “a thorough assessment of all products, to identify what materials and components needed to be replaced, develop[ing] a vegan policy that outlined what materials were no longer permitted, and devise[ing] steps to ensure all products would be entirely free from animal materials or derivatives.”Call It Spring wants to make it easier for consumers to identify vegan products by printing a “V” on all shoe soles and boxes. Consumers are demanding sustainable practices from fast-fashion brands, and, as part of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, Call It Spring has taken it upon themselves to meet these growing expectations.
